  • Age of candidates should be between 18-30 years 
  • Madhyamik Examination from a recognized educational board. The candidates must know the Bengali language.

Kolkata Police Constable Syllabus

Stages Names Descriptions
Stage I Written Examination A written examination of 85 marks will be conducted to evaluate the knowledge and skills related to the Constable posts.
Stage II Physical Measurement Test (PMT) Candidates who score the minimum qualifying marks in the written test will be called for PMT. The height, weight, and chest measurements of candidates are evaluated at this stage.
Stage III Physical Efficiency Test (PET) After passing the PMT round, candidates have to appear for the PET round. In this stage, the physical fitness of the candidates for the relevant posts is evaluated.
Stage IV Interview The final stage is the interview round. After clearing all the previous stage, selected candidates will be called for a personal interview and the questions based on the general knowledge and the relevant posts are asked for their final selection....
